Cave women were artists, too

handprintUp until recently, it had been assumed that only cave men were capable of masterpieces like “Untitled (Hand)”, while their female counterparts would be back in the kitchen concocting some nutritious twig and berry soup. New findings at Pennsylvania State University and reported by the Daily Mail indicate, however, that the upper Palaeolithic ladies were artists, too. Professor of Archaeological Anthropology Dean Snow was able to reach this conclusion by making comparisons of finger size and ratio. Thanks Dean! A striking affirmation.
