Barbara Panther’s self-titled debut full-length arrives the 3rd of June via City Slang / Universal. The Matthew Herbert-produced album collects three tracks from last year’s Empire EP along with seven new ones. Its recently revealed cover artwork — scroll down to see it along with the record’s tracklist — is quite gorgeous but certainly won’t prevent further comparisons to Björk.

Meanwhile, you can watch the spartan new video for “Moonlight People”, featuring a dress designed by Berlin’s own Musterbrigade as well as some Planningtorock-esque symmetry. Also be on the lookout for a remix from Chicago dubstepper Lorn of “Empire”, a preview of which is streaming below.

Finally, in case you missed it, read our interview with Ms. Panther from last fall, or listen to it (along with an unreleased Renaissance Man remix) in Expatriarch Radio #6.

Barbara Panther “Empire” (Lorn remix):

Barbara Panther:

  1. Rise Up
  2. Moonlight People
  3. Unchained
  4. Voodoo
  5. Wizzard
  6. Empire
  7. A Last Dance
  8. Oh Captain
  9. Dizzy
  10. Ride to the Source
