Pee-Wee’s Playhouse movie to be produced by Judd Apatow
The new film -- the first since 1989's Big Top Pee-Wee -- is supposedly centered on the characters of Pee-Wee's Playhouse as they venture out into the real world in a "road trip" type scenario. After dropping hints in this year's interview with Swindle, Paul Reubens has officially announced The Pee-Wee Herman Show: Live on Stage in which he'll be reunited with Miss Yvonne, Cowboy Curtis, Jambi, Chairry, Pterri and other Pee-Wee's Playhouse characters.
